December whirlwind

It's the day after Christmas. Wow that went fast. I am so glad that I had vacation days to burn before the end of the year. Instead of having to head to the office, I am wrapped in a warm blanket watching a Hallmark Christmas movie, eating spritz cookies, doing a little online shopping, and watching the snow fall. Oh, and soon to be crashing from a huge sugar and caffeine high, thanks to a seemingly endless supply of Christmas cookies that I can't resist and a new Keurig that is getting a lot of use already. I dread the day I have no sugar or coffee... Maybe a New Year's resolution? Yikes, that is next week. How is that possible? Oh yeah, December has been a whirlwind of activity. First, there were 4 different days of cookie baking. (No wonder I'm on the high I am). First, with friends of ours, then my own baking, then a cookie exchange with my girlfriends, and lastly with my mom. The holidays are truly not very nice to...
