Annabel - Eleven months

Image
I look back at this year and don't know where it went so fast! 11 months. It feels like I was just being rushed into a delivery room for her speedy exit. And yet here we are (now, a mere week away from her first birthday since I can't get my act together to post these very timely). We are loving seeing the person this little lady is growing into. This last month Annabel lost all resemblance to being a baby. Crawling, pulling herself up, showing obvious preferences, tantrums, trying to communicate...it all made her feel like such a big kid. Now, if only she'd sleep at night like a big kid. Let's get the ugly out of the way. Sleep. She used to be such a dream at night (but horrible napper), and then she flipped. We appreciate the solid naps she usually takes without a fuss, but nighttime has been so. dang. hard. She will not go down in her crib without being in a deep sleep. Unlike naptime where we lay her awake and she rolls over and puts herself to sleep....
