Three months
I'm late for Carter's three-month post. I guess that's what happens when you go back to work and no longer have endless hours holding baby on the couch with a free hand to blog from your phone. Three months in this world. Wow. And just about 1 year of existence . How crazy to think he started out as a tiny ball of cells. Carter's personality is just blooming, and it's been so incredible to watch. I keep saying that each new phase is the best, but it really is. Sure, I do miss the tiny, quiet, fits-in-the-crook-of-my-arm sleepy baby, but this squirmy, loud, getting heavy one is pretty dang awesome. So far, Carter's disposition seems pretty laid back and content. He enjoys people, a lot, but like his mama seems to also feel a bit overstimulated and likes some quiet. He squawks when he's tired of something and wants new scenery, and has this adorable new pouty lip when he's on the verge of crying. But generally he's very happy and will crack...
